The staff at Cogo Ryogoku went above and beyond to help me when I had a severe ear infection. They found a doctor that was open on a Sunday and made an appointment for me. I was so grateful for their exceptional service and care. The location was convenient, with a short walk to the train station, and the beds were comfortable with curtains for privacy. The spacious kitchen was a bonus, allowing multiple people to cook at the same time. Despite some minor drawbacks, such as the lack of soundproof walls and a bright bunk light, I would still recommend this place for its helpful staff and comfortable amenities. I had a pleasant stay at Cogo Ryogoku.

the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Misaki who went above and beyond to assist me with motorcycle rentals. the location of the property was superb, with easy access to nearby attractions and just a short walk to JR Ryogoku Station. the family room we stayed in was spacious and had its own private bathroom, which was a great convenience. I also loved the traditional Japanese theme throughout the place, adding to the overall cultural experience. the kitchen was large and well-equipped, allowing us to save money by cooking our own meals. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way. 🌟.

Great communal dining/kitchen/lounge area. It was spacious and well-equipped, allowing guests to cook and save money. The nearby Maruetsu Petite supermarket was convenient for buying groceries. Also, the staff was accommodating and helpful during check-in, providing quick responses to messages.
The hotel had thin doors and walls, resulting in poor soundproofing. This made it difficult to sleep at night, as noise from other guests could be heard, especially when they arrived late or stayed up late talking.

We had a great experience at this hostel-style hotel. Despite the small space, our family of four found it surprisingly comfortable. The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and private bathrooms. The seventh floor was a bonus with its kitchen, laundry facilities, and gathering area. The three separate sink areas in the bedroom, shower room, and washroom were extremely convenient for all of us using water simultaneously. The staff went above and beyond by even picking up our laundry. The design of the place was interesting and the biggest room we've stayed in Japan.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to help me when I had a medical emergency. They found a doctor for me and even made an appointment on my behalf. I am so grateful for their kindness and assistance. The location of the hotel was also great, just a short walk to the nearest station and close to convenience stores and shops. Another advantage was the well-equipped kitchen and living room facilities. It was unexpected but a pleasant surprise to have these amenities available.
One downside of the hotel was that the dorm rooms were hot, especially on the top bunk. The small portable AC unit wasn't sufficient to cool down the entire room.

The bunk beds in the room were surprisingly spacious and comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. the separate bathroom and toilets were a great convenience, especially with the additional sink in the room. the location of the hotel near several convenience stores and a variety of restaurants was very convenient for grabbing snacks or finding a place to eat. the helpful and polite young staff, who spoke English, made our stay even more enjoyable.
The cleanliness of the bathrooms was also slightly below standard, as there was a slight odor that indicated it needed some extra cleaning.
